CareConnect is BC’s provincial electronic health record platform that is accessible by select BCEHS clinical groups. These groups include EPOS physicians, Paramedic Specialists, Secondary Triage Clinicians, Low Acuity Patient Navigators, Link and Referral Unit Paramedics, Critical Care Paramedic Advisors, Infant Transport Team Advisors, Community Paramedics and Community Paramedic Coordinators.

By providing access to a small cohort of BCEHS employees, CareConnect will improve patient outcomes by highlighting relevant points of information from their electronic health record (EHR), including interaction with the primary care system. Some clinical benefits of CareConnect access are:
